Thanks Doug! So nice to have you checking in and checking up on me. It inspires me to keep writing. I changed the "typo" so that it would be clear I was talking about the freeway.

Oh, to be Molly Dwyer

What fun, and I've only recently gotten a glimpse of the years of immersion in your favorite subject that allows your words to flow so effortlessly.

I, for one, like to hear of your adventures, at readings, at interviews; all of it. What's that word where you live through another person--don't think of a carrot.

[ check for a little typo
down 5 lots of times over the years ]

Thank you for being Molly Dwyer / Ever / Doug

Here is another chance to sing your praises, Molly. The special care you take with your writing is expressed in the redesign of the blog/etc. It looks great.
I also appreciate your thoughts on Veterans for Peace and how politically radical Shelley, Byron, Mary Shelley, and Leigh Hunt were.
Thanks--Doug

Molly, I have always been an admirer of Mary Wollstonecraft and I think that your approaching Veterans for Peace to do this reading is in the spirit of her courage to speak out. Good luck.

You're welcome and please excuse me, Molly--for not finishing the sentence I started about Mr. Houston's writing.
Just read the free excerpt on Amazon of a sample of his work, like Snow Mountain Passage: a novel of the Donner party.

Molly's blog changes popped up today while I was creating a blog to book version I heard described in Sunday morning's presentation by Denise Wakeman of TheBlogSquad. It made me a believer in electronic publishing to the niche readers without upfront costs. I've got a project I see in 5x7 with my quirky short stories.
I attended this year's Mendocino Coast Writer's Conference and it brought me into the company of a writer, James D. Houston, bigger than life. It helps to be tall. His keynote used parts I recognized from "The Anchor" in -Three Songs for My Father- Capra Press 1974. I shared his three day morning workshop with eleven others. An amazing man. Just read the free excerpt on Amazon of
I'm commenting because I'm a fan of Molly's writing and savoring my copy of -Requiem -. Her immersion in the lives of the Romantics changes the plateau where we all start writing. I can't get enough.
  Thank you Molly

Molly, Thank you so much for speaking to our CWC Marin writers' group in June. You gave one of the best, most articulate presentations about writing I have ever experienced, at any venue. Your lively talk deftly wove the Romantic poets, dreams, and traveling in England with shamanism, quantum physics, genius, and meaningful coincidence. I have long noticed how things like to happen together! (Truth IS stranger than fiction...) I'm inspired to pay closer attention to strengthen subtle truth in my own writing. Through tapping into deep levels of emotional sensitivity, the observer becomes a participant, the key to change.
I highly recommend you to writers’ groups and as a conference keynote. Your perspective is very grounding, informative, inspiring, and current. Write on!
